Job description
The cultural agent will reach out to the Montreal community through cultural activities in fields such as theater, dance, poetry, music and painting.
Tasks to be performed
- Set up a variety of cultural activities, taking into account the needs and particularities of each audience.
- Promote and actively participate in activities offered by the organization
- Any requests from the immediate supervisor relating to the position
Profile required
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age for the duration of the contract
- Must be authorized to work in Canada (Canadian residency/citizenship or refugee status REQUIRED)
- A keen interest in the arts, culture and diversity
- Good command of French
- Good adaptability
- Ability and ease of working with audiences of all ages (especially youth, early childhood and seniors)
- Good understanding of English and Creole an asset
- Training in cultural mediation an asset
- Artists with no work experience welcome!
Salary
18/hour, negotiable depending on experience
Job status: 8-week contract, between June and August.
Full-time, 30 hours per week, no fixed schedule. Occasional evening and weekend work.
