Compagnie Théâtre Créole is a non-profit organization based in Montreal since 2012 promoting diversity in the performing arts and living together in marginalized Montreal communities.
Job description
- Attend monthly Board meetings
- Keep abreast of the company’s development and activities
- Providing support and advice on company decisions
Schedule
This role requires a minimum volunteer commitment of 3 hours per month for the mandatory Board meetings. However, it is possible to volunteer more hours to advise and support the team.
Qualifications required
- Living in Montreal
- 1 year or more experience in one of the following fields: communications, philanthropy, law, administration, accounting.
- Entregent
- Must enjoy teamwork
- Good communication skills
- Board experience an asset
- Knowledge of issues related to cultural organizations and marginalized and Afro-descendant communities an asset
