Thanks to funding from the MTESS VILLE de Saint-Léonard project, the company will implement a series of activities to train beneficiaries in certain artistic disciplines and periodically produce cultural events:

Job description
Under the supervision of the Company’s General Manager, the Project Manager will work on :
- Planning and implementing art workshops;
- Planning and implementing the project’s cultural events;
- Follow-up with all the players involved in the project.
Work tasks
- To raise awareness among households in precarious economic situations in Saint-Léonard of the benefits of practicing the arts;
- Mobilize supervisors from several artistic disciplines
- Mobilize and recruit participants from all age categories of households in precarious economic situations on the Saint-Léonard territory.
- Plan and organize the project’s 4 artistic workshops
- Program and promote the project’s 4 cultural events
- Collect registrations for the 4 cultural events of the project
- Evaluate the cultural works to be presented at the project’s 4 cultural events
- Promote activities online and in person
- Help set up the project’s 4 cultural events
- Produce the project’s 4 cultural events
- Organize the recording and broadcasting, on the Company’s social networking pages, of the project’s artistic workshops and cultural events.
- Ensure administrative follow-up of the project
- Draw up the reports and summaries required by the position
- Carry out any other task related to his or her function as requested by his or her immediate superior.
- Search for grants/partnerships for project renewal
Requirements
- University studies in a related field (administration, social sciences, project management, cultural organization management, etc.)
- Experience in working with young people and/or other age groups
- Knowledge of the reality of low-income households in Saint-Léonard and the east end of the island
- Ability to analyze and adapt
- Sense of initiative, autonomy and organization
- Excellent knowledge and command of the French language (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of a second language (Arabic, Spanish, Creole, etc.) is an asset
Employment status
- Part-time position: 144-hour contract, 4 hours per week
- Evening or weekend schedule
- Salary scale level 6, hourly rate of $21.63
