Organized around the International Day of Creole Languages and Cultures on October 28, the FESTITHÉÂTRECRÉOLE / FESTITEYATKREYÒL is a performing arts festival highlighting Creole culture in Montreal.

Witnessing the benefits of diversity, the Compagnie Théâtre Créole collaborates with a wide range of institutions and artists to promote all Creole cultures through plays, staged readings, humor, poetry, talks and warm exchanges with the public.

The FESTITHÉÂTRECRÉOLE aims to encourage young Creole-speakers to make theater that reflects their ancestral culture, while ensuring a mix with Canadian culture.
