For the 2nd edition of Regard ailleurs, which will take place from February 26 to March 5, 2023 in Jacmel, Haiti, the Compagnie is proud to announce its call for participation from artists and theater groups from the community. We are looking for emerging and professional artists, as well as theater groups who already have a creation ready to perform during the festival.
Regard ailleurs is part of the5th edition of the Festival Théâtre Communauté des Noirs (FETHÉCOMNOIRS).
Eligibility criteria
- Have a creation ready to play during the festival
- Have a creation by a Black author (Afrodescendant.e) or a text (Libre d’auteur) performed by Black people.
- Be on Haitian soil or have the means to be there (the festival will pay for accommodation and food for foreign artists and troupes)
- Authorization for the copyright of the piece presented
The selection of performances will be based on the quality and rigor of the artistic approach, as well as on the originality of the creation.
A fee of one hundred thousand gourdes (G100,000.00) will be offered to the artist or theater company. The fee is payable at the time of performance.
