La Compagnie Théâtre Créole is a non-profit organization based in Montreal since 2012 promoting diversity in the performing arts and living together in marginalized Montreal communities.
Job description
- Attend monthly Board meetings
- Keep abreast of the company’s development and activities
- Providing support and advice on company decisions
Schedule
This role requires a minimum volunteer commitment of 3 hours per month for mandatory Board meetings. But it is possible to get involved for more hours at events or to advise and support the team.
Qualifications required
- Living in Montreal
- 1 year or more experience in one of the following fields: administration, philanthropy, finance and accounting, real estate (lawyer in real estate law or in a construction trade), urban planning, human resources, social innovation,
- Entregent
- Must enjoy teamwork
- Good communication skills
- Board experience an asset
- Knowledge of issues related to cultural organizations and marginalized and Afro-descendant communities an asset
- Fluency in French or English
- Positions open to all communities
Number of positions to be filled: 4 (one- or two-year commitment)
